I would absolutely Love to have a Mowrator S1 4WD for some of my commercial lawncare especially for tackling this bank. Everytime I weedeat it I end up falling down the hill. I know all my competitors would be stopping asking me what is that? Where did you get it?

The Mowrator mows very well. There was heavy storm winds yesterday. I mowed today. I strapped on a Gopro and mulched the bark and leaves under the large gum tree that frequently messes up our garden after a windy day (very very common in Australia).It quickly tidied up the garden. 18 minutes unedited mowing only. Big shards of bark and lots of leaves cleared without problem.

I can say so far I am very pleased.
The machine is very well build and goes together precisely.
It goes up our steep lawns. I would say that our slopes are very steep
and a true test. I can't get any other mower up these 3 places, so the fact that the Mowrator climbs there is very impressive.
Two of the slopes are 40 degrees plus and one is 38-40, so the are very steep. You can see how steep by the way I have to climb it myself

Just got to really test the 4wd unit. It is a beast!!! Love love love it!!!!! I'm looking forward to getting the two more wide wheels. This was with the wheels that came with the mower and it did great. It will be even more powerful with those wide wheels.

Cutting along this roadway is now possible without hours of string trimming. Plus a string trimmer would not cut these weeds without using the brush cutting blade-also a pain. It's not safe for the tractor and brush hog here either. We have 700ft off roadway like this to maintain, plus many others on the ranch. I can't wait to get the wide wheels and high lift blades.

The picture attached is the Mowrator pulling a spreader that caan put
out grass seed, fertilizer, or insecticide. There were some big
suprises. The Morater was more stable on steep slopes! I'll explain
how it works when we get together. There are many advantagjes to
using a Morator with a speader. You don't have to walk through the
seeds or insecticide. You can also check on the levels of what iis being
applied because you aren't driving an ATV or a lawn tractor.

First battle scar. Every time I use the AWD Mowrator, I am so grateful to my son for sending me the Kickstarter link. We have a back yard that is very rocky and has slopes of 45 degrees or more in places. I had been weedeating the grass and weeds using mountain climbing gear to stabilize me as I swung the weed eater around. I can now use the Mowrator to mow almost all of the yard. I have learned that I can disable the tilt sensor and go side to side, using it in reverse to negotiate the steep slopes instead of 180 degree turns. Today I hit a couple of rocks. Then I hit an obviously large rock hidden in the grass. We had been gone for an extended trip and the grass was between 12-16 inches high. The result is what you see here. Blade bent and cutting a gash into the blade shield. Luckily, I had ordered the 3 replacement blade set. So I removed the bent blade and put on one of the high lift blades.
Some things I learned are that I appreciate the technology and detail that the Mowrator team has put into the Mowrator. It is built tough! The blade was relatively easy to replace. When I removed the blade I discovered the screws securing the blade motor were loose. In tightening the screws, I had to remove the ventilation disk and blade spacer. The spacer was very tight. I used 2 screwdrivers on opposite sides to gently pull it off. After taking off the ventilation disk, the motor mount screws were readily accessible. The ventilation disk is just a little too large to get a hex wrench to fit well on the screws without removing it. Being plastic, you have to be very careful not to break it. Also, some debris has taken out a piece of the mulcher insert. I will patch the gash with some aluminum, and maybe the mulch insert as well.

My first time using my S1. I had to run it with the sensors off and the deck at 5 the first pass because the sensors are very sensitive and would be stopped by the tall grass. I lowered the deck and used the cruise and U-turn functions on a second pass. Mowed the entire yard front and back only used 1/4 battery.

This thing eats hills for breakfast. Can’t wait for the grippier tires though.

Mowrator S1 has a trailer to move my stuff around my very large garden. As I’m disabled it will be very useful to me.

Very pleased with my Mowrator AWD. Our back yard is very steep and rocky. I had to use mountain climbing gear to steady myself when weed eating the slope. The Mowrator can handle all but the very steepest sections. I have ordered the more aggressive tires to hopefully allow me to mow all the slope. The standard tires will spin all 4 wheels on the really steep sections. I have also used the Mowrator to haul a small wagon with rocks around our property. I refer to it as our donkey. The Mowrator is the best! My wife is happy to not see me suspended on the rope swinging a weed eater. I saw the attached gun case at our local Wal-Mart in sporting goods. I think it would be a good choice for protecting the controller.
